Knitting & Crocheting
Knitters and needle crafters of all levels unite! Whether you’re looking for an opportunity to learn, practice, or master your craft, this is the group for you. Meetings are held in the Lake Room from 7:00pm-8:30pm on the first and third Mondays of each month.
Just starting out and unsure what you should bring? To get started, pick out a skein of yarn that you like the color and feel of and make sure it’s relatively smooth (not too nubby or furry, at least to get started). Pick out a pair of straight needles; try a size 6 or 7. You don’t need anything fancy to get started—you can purchase your own materials, but “regulars” bring extra supplies to each meeting so that newbies can try materials out before making an investment. Refreshments are provided.
