Highland Lakes

Farm Team (ages 4-5)
This league, which meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00am at the back of Field #1, is designed for ages 4-5 year old girls. No girls younger than 4 years old are allowed to participate. Soft, sponge-rubber balls are used, and the objective is to introduce the children to the basics of the game, including how to hold and swing the bat, stand at the plate, run the bases, and throw the ball. Game fundamentals are also introduced, and a short game is held at the end of each session.

Gems (ages 6-8)
This league meets on Thursday mornings at 10:00am at Field #1. The first 30 minutes are spent introducing and learning skills, and the last 30 minutes are spent playing a game to reinforce those new skills.

Butterfly (ages 9-11)
This league meets on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm on Field #1 for real games. Players from each team pitch, and all participants continue to learn about the different positions in the field.

Girls Little (ages 12-16)
This league meets on Monday evenings at 6:00pm on Field #1—dedicated volunteer coaches work with older girls with a passion for softball.
