New Residential Burglary Reported
Another residential burglary was reported to the Club by the Vernon Police Department. The daytime burglary took place on Friday, October 28th in the Birch Road area and was discovered by the homeowners upon their return from work. The recent burglaries remain under active investigation by the Vernon Police Department.
Members are reminded to inspect your homes for unlocked windows and doors, and to take a careful look at basement windows that may not be as secure as others in your home. Report suspicious individuals, vehicles or activities immediately to the Vernon Police Department at 973-764-6155. Try to get the best description that you can of suspicious individuals and vehicles in your neighborhood and the license plates if you are able.
