Highland Lakes Annual Lighted Boat Parade – Family Day, Saturday August 11
Starting Point – Beach #3 at 7:30 pm
Due to popular demand, we have turned our 75th Anniversary Lighted Boat Parade into an annual event to be held on Family Day. As we did last year, we will be starting at 7:30 pm at the north end of the Main Lake near Beach #3. Participating boats (party boats and any other lighted boats) may join the parade at our 7:30 pm start time or along the parade route as we make our way south, turning west just past Blueberry Island and then north past Breezy Point. The boat parade will finish at the Clubhouse just in time to enjoy our Family Day fireworks.
All those participating in the parade must make sure that their boat is well lit. This is essential for the enjoyment and safety of all. Those planning to watch the parade and fireworks from the water are advised to bring a flashlight to illuminate their own vessel and thereby avoid collisions with others on the lake.
