HLCC Women’s Auxiliary Annual Fundraiser – August 7 Fashion Show/Silent Auction
Mark your calendars for an evening of fun. The HLCC Women’s Auxiliary has organized a Fashion Show/Silent Auction to be held on August 7 at the HL Clubhouse. For a nominal fee of $7 you’ll be treated to a night of entertainment. The event is open to the public so be sure to bring your friends and relatives to enjoy the fun.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and the fashion show begins promptly at 7 pm. Women’s Auxiliary members will be modeling the fashions from Dress Barn. A Silent Auction will follow with over 100 trays, which you can bid on several times. Bring any snacks, wine, or cocktails from home, and enjoy a light dessert and coffee/tea/iced tea provided by the auxiliary. The Women’s Auxiliary contributes to local ambulance corps and the fire department, as well as charities within the Club. This is the group’s only fundraiser. Your support is encouraged and appreciated.
Organized in 1940 and flourishing ever since, the auxiliary is open to all women of Highland Lakes and always welcomes new members with new ideas and support. The group meets every Tuesday morning from the end of June to summer’s end. They always have a busy agenda and enjoy socializing!! For more information contact Pat Wootton at 973-764-3749.
