First there were ice storms….
then Hurricane Irene, Hurricane Sandy and Winter Storm Nemo.

When an emergency occurs, would you like to be part of our community’s efforts to check that you and your neighbors made it through severe storms and prolonged power outages okay?

Volunteers from the Highland Lakes Senior Club are setting up a phone chain so that in an emergency we can make sure people in our community are safe. Our plan is a simple plan – relying on neighbors talking to neighbors.

Anyone can participate…seniors, disabled, those living alone, single parents with small children or anyone that just wants to help out.

Please fill out and return the registration form and the Senior Club will be in contact with you when the phone chain has been set up.
