Highland Lakes Resident to Star in Special Tri-State Actors Theater Benefit Performance
Mary Ann Hay, well-known professional actress and long-time resident of Highland Lakes and New York City, will star along with Paul Meacham, actor and Artistic Director, in Love Letters, by A. R. Gurney, a one-time only performance as a benefit for Tri-State Actors Theater at the Performing Arts Center, Sussex County Community College, Newton, NJ, on June 15 at 8pm.
Love Letters is an imaginative theatre piece comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.
