Five and Under Playgroup Going Strong
Despite all of the snow this winter, activities for little ones at the Lake have stayed fairly constant thanks to the Five and Under Playgroup, held every Wednesday and Friday morning from 10-noon. On Wednesday mornings the group meets in the Seckler Room of the clubhouse for free play, hands-on group activities and a snack. The morning offers an opportunity for parents and kids to meet up with friends and socialize in a relaxing, carefree setting. Friday mornings the group plans excursions to different locales throughout the area for outdoor activities and fun.
The playgroup started years ago when a group of parents at the Lake asked if they could coordinate an activity for their younger children during the winter months. Now those toddlers are well into their twenties and new tikes are taking over with every passing generation. If you’ve got a little one five years or younger, come join in the fun.
