Clubhouse boat launch closed
Anyone who has visited or driven by the clubhouse knows that the reconstruction of the parking lot is well underway. Access to the boat launch has been temporarily closed and is expected to reopen not later than Saturday morning, April 25. Beach 3 at the intersection of Lakeside Drive East with Lookover Lane may be used to launch small boats. We do not suggest launching pontoon boats, larger sailboats, etc. at this location.
Parking near the playground, swings, etc. is non-existent for now and we suggest that you use the facilities at Beach 1 or Canistear park instead. Full access to the playground area, including the boat docks and racks, should be available in another two weeks. The project is due for substantial completion by the end of May.
