Voting Board Workshop – Wednesday, December 9
The board will be holding its monthly workshop tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 9. It begins at 8 pm and is held in the Lake Room. Members are welcome to attend although they do not have the freedom to comment during the meeting. Comments from members are welcomed at the monthly board meeting which takes place on the third Friday of every month, except August when our annual meeting is held on Sunday afternoons. December’s board meeting is scheduled to be held on the 18th. Members who are unable to attend meetings but would like to receive a synopsis of what transpired, are encouraged to contact their trustee.
The board’s agenda for Wednesday’s meeting includes comments from a representative of the newly-formed Highland Lakes Artists group; an update from the Planning committee; a discussion of the process the Voting Board will follow in examining the proposal for the creation of a youth summer day camp; and distribution of a draft budget for the Capital Fund.
