Voting Board Workshop – Wednesday, March 9
The board is due to hold its monthly workshop Wednesday, March 9. The meeting begins at 8 pm in the Lake Room. Members are welcome to attend although there are no floor privileges available for comments during the meeting. Comments from members are welcomed at the monthly board meeting which takes place on the third Friday of every month and at the Annual Meeting on the third Sunday afternoon of each August. Our annual meeting this year is scheduled to take place on August 21. This month’s board meeting is scheduled to be held on March 18. Members who are unable to attend meetings but would like to receive a synopsis of what transpired are encouraged to contact their trustee.
The board’s agenda for the meeting includes a presentation by Club member Jennifer Ziegler and others on the concept they presented in the fall of Highland Lakes offering day care during summer months. Jennifer and her committee will be responding to questions posed by officers and trustees earlier this year. Also being presented is a request from the Sussex County Health Department to conduct a free skin cancer screening program in June that would be open to the general public.
