Hold Your Bulky Waste!
Due to an error on Vernon Township’s website, we previously published in the April 2 Newsette that The Clean Communities program will be hosting a bulky waste clean-up day on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Unfortunately, that was incorrect and the date was actually April 16, which has passed. We apologize to those members who got the wrong information, but please don’t show up at the DPW facility on Church Street with a truck full of mattresses, stoves and TVs on the 23rd—there will be no one there to take it.
The next Bulky Waste Day will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2016. This event will be free compared to the event that just took place. In the meantime, bulky waste may be brought to the Residents’ Convenience Center at the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority in Lafayette Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 2 pm.
