Voting Board Workshop – Wednesday, April 6
The board is due to hold its monthly workshop Wednesday, April 6. The meeting begins at 8 pm in the Lake Room. Members are welcome to attend although there are no floor privileges available for comments during the meeting. Comments from members are welcomed at the monthly board meeting which takes place on the third Friday of every month and at the Annual Meeting on the third Sunday afternoon of each August. Our annual meeting this year is scheduled to take place on August 21. This month’s board meeting is scheduled to be held on April 15. Members who are unable to attend meetings but would like to receive a synopsis of what transpired are encouraged to contact their trustee.
The board’s agenda for the meeting includes a review of documents submitted to the board by Club member Jennifer Ziegler and others on the concept they presented in the fall of Highland Lakes offering day care during summer months. Also being presented is an inquiry received by all members of the New Jersey Coalition of Lake Associations from the Green Pond community which relates to floats placed more than 25 feet from shore needing approval from the NJ State Police and that warning lights meeting Coast Guard requirements must be installed.
The workshop will be followed by an executive session of the board. Only board members are permitted to participate in an executive session.
