Voting Board Workshop – Wednesday, September 7, 8 pm
The Voting Board will hold its monthly workshop Wednesday, September 7 in the Lake Room. Board workshops begin at 8 pm. As is customary for board workshops, members may listen to the board discuss matters but are not permitted to comment during the meeting.
The board’s agenda for the workshop includes:
1. Discussion of recommendation from By-Laws and Rules Committee related to the use of generators on Club properties and a new prohibition against fireworks.
2. Results of discussion with Mayor Shortway on short term rentals.
3. Topics raised at the Annual Meeting by members.
Comments from members are welcomed at the monthly board meeting which takes place on the third Friday of every month and at the Annual Meeting on the third Sunday afternoon of each August. This month’s board meeting is scheduled to be held on September 16. Members who are unable to attend meetings but would like to receive a synopsis of what transpired are encouraged to contact their trustee.
