Lowering of Main Lake begins Friday, September 15, 2017
The water lowering permit for the three foot draw down of the Main Lake has been received. Lowering begins Friday, September 15. It is anticipated that the three foot lowering will take approximately 20 – 25 days. The first week in October (excluding any heavy rainfall events) is when the lowering should be completed. The lowered level will be maintained through December 31, at which time the valve will be closed and the lake allowed to fill.
Don’t wait until the last minute to remove your boats or docks from the lake. Notices about this draw down have been distributed over the past five months. Remember: no work may take place along the shoreline without the Club’s prior written approval.
