Voting Board Workshop Meeting – Wednesday, March 14, 2018 8 pm
A Voting Board Workshop is scheduled for March 14, 2018. The meeting is held in the Lake Room and will begin at 8 pm.
Discussion will include a presentation by Barbara Jaggi, Ecology Committee chairperson, on the committee’s examination of carry-in/carry-out refuse programs at state and municipal facilities. By-Laws and Rules Committee chairperson Nancy Eisenberg will report on the committee’s research regarding the rentals of Highland Lakes properties, spotty By-Law compliance by owners, and recommendations for By-Law amendments. Expanded water quality monitoring in 2018 by Princeton Hydro for Lakes 1 and Lake 4 will also be discussed.
All Highland Lakes members in good standing are welcomed and encouraged to attend. It is at these meetings that you will learn the business of the Club and the matters that are currently under discussion. Opportunities for members to share their thoughts with the Voting Board are always available at the monthly Regular Meeting. The next Regular Meeting is scheduled to take place on March 23, 2018, at 8 pm due to a previous cancellation based on weather. Note that this meeting normally takes place on the third Friday of each month but has been pushed back this month due to weather.
