Boats Needed to Claim Boat Dock and Rack Space
This is a reminder that the Club’s policy of “first-come/first-serve” to claim space for your rowboat, canoe, kayak, etc. on a rack or dock requires that your boat occupies that space. We have received reports that members are attempting to claim spaces by simply placing their boating permit on the dock or rack without a boat. This is not an acceptable and your “claim” to that space is invalid.
This instruction does not apply to those boat dock locations subject to permanent assignment by the Boat Dock committee. For more information please see https://hlcc.org/about-hlcc/boating-dock-space/.
