Interested in joining the Club’s Water Safety staff? Then make note that the Club is offering the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification class beginning July 9. Registration is required not later than July 2 with the $50.00 deposit. The balance of $50.00 is due on the first day of class, July 9. Checks can be made out to HLCC marked attention Water Safety in the memo field.

All classes are mandatory and any class exceeding 4 ½ hours will have a minimum ½ hour lunch break. Students are required to bring an exercise-appropriate bathing suit, a notebook and something to write with every day of class. It is recommended that students bring 2 towels, a change of clothes, lunch and snacks, plenty of water and sun block. Students will be provided with a CPR mask and a textbook. Classes will be held rain or shine, and will meet at the swim lanes at the start of every day unless told otherwise.
