Voting Board Bans Smoking, Vaping and Tobacco Use

At its meeting on June 15, 2018, the Voting Board adopted a new Rule (No. 31) as follows: Smoking, vaping, or the use of tobacco products on Club properties is prohibited.

This Rule goes into effect immediately and covers ALL Club properties. Club properties include, but are not limited, the Club’s beaches, parks, the Clubhouse, athletic facilities, dams, playgrounds, freeways, boating areas, playing fields and courts and parking lots. Cigarette butt receptacles at the Clubhouse have been removed.

Members: please make sure you inform your guests that this new Rule is in effect. Anyone found in violation of this Rule will be instructed to leave Club property immediately. Repeat violators are subject to the Club’s disciplinary procedures set forth in Rule 22, which include the suspension of membership privileges, the imposition of a monetary fine, or both.
