Updated: Court Repairs Authorized / Work Begins June 14
Updated June 13, 2019: Work on the tennis courts will take place Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15. The contractor plans to leave two courts open for play.
The Voting Board has authorized a contract with DiMilia Inc. of Montclair, NJ for various repairs to the Club’s courts. Repairs include crack filling, resurfacing and restriping at the courts. At Beach 1, the work involves the utility, basketball, handball, and the four tennis courts. At Canistear Park, DiMilia will be working on the pickleball and basketball courts.
Work is due to begin during the week of June 17 and take approximately two weeks to complete. Of course, this work is weather-dependent and contractors, including DiMilia, are behind schedule due to the wet spring we have experienced.
Temporary disruptions in court availability will occur – your patience is appreciated.
