Ecology Committee Holds Main Lake Paddling Tour on July 20
The Highland Lakes Ecology Committee invites Club members to join us on a paddling tour of the Main Lake on Saturday, July 20. The tour will start near the Clubhouse boat launch area at 6 pm, returning to that same area by 8 pm for refreshments. All participants are advised to wear an appropriate personal flotation device. Water safety whistles will be provided before departure. A hat, drinking water, and insect repellant might also be worth bringing along. Information about the lake’s ecology and history will be offered during the tour. This is a PADDLE ONLY event—no motorized vessels, please. A pontoon boat will accompany the tour to provide assistance to anyone requiring it.
