Basic Sailing Clinic Learn to Sail – July 5
Hello Sunfish sailing enthusiasts!
We understand some of you have questions on “how to sail?”.
We are offering a 3-hour clinic on Tuesday, July 5, from 11 am to 2 pm to help you understand the “Basics of Sailing”. This will be held on the Club lawn.
We will cover all equipment of your boat and how to sail it. This is not a racing clinic, but rather the “all you need to know” to get out there in your Sunfish and take advantage of our beautiful lake.
Sailing is a life lesson.
Take advantage. Adults and children, please come with your life jacket, towel, water bottle, light snack and sunscreen. Junior sailors recommended to attend.
Have a question about your equipment? Bring your boat if you wish, or photo for us to take a peek at something on it.
Be prepared to get wet to learn how to right a boat after capsize.
