Fall Roadside Litter Clean-Up Day – October 23 @ 10 AM
The Ecology Committee & CCHL invites you to our 1st Fall Roadside Litter Clean-Up this Sunday, October 23rd at 10 AM.
The Spring Roadside Clean Up Day has been a long standing HLCC tradition and we appreciate all the Volunteers that come out to help tidy up our town. We’re looking forward to the Fall Roadside Clean Up Day being as successful!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Volunteers should register at the Clubhouse at 10 AM.
- Indicate where you will pick up trash and where you will drop off of your bags.
- Bags will be provided at the Clubhouse front porch upon registration.
- Be sure to wear gloves and bright clothing.
- Bring any hand pick-up tools you may have to make the work lighter.
- There’s no need to return anything to the Clubhouse after you complete your work.
Vernon DPW will pick up the trash bags Monday morning. So be sure to leave your collections at your indicated site.
