Red Hat Society
The Red Hat Society is a chartered member of the worldwide organization of the Red Hat Society. We meet every third Saturday for laughter and great friendship. Our group was created in August 2004 by Founding Queen Jane Hoffman – since then, our membership has grown to 30 members who enjoy camaraderie, laughter, and social activities.
The “Highland Hatters” has no rules other than accepting each members’ spirit of fun and friendship with good humor and grace (although most members have crossed the threshold of 50 and adhere to a suggested dress code that includes wearing an outrageous red hat, red and purple clothing, and appropriate accessories). We are unique as each member contributes to the frivolity by planning a monthly event.
For more information, contact Queen Pat Wootton at 973-764-3749.
