Family Day
This is a Highland Lakes’ annual celebration of family and community. Families set up stations on the Clubhouse lawn according to a theme announced early in the summer. (Past themes have included “Nations of the World” and “the Movies”). The Club’s grill remains fired up throughout the day and is manned by dedicated volunteers to keep attendees well nourished. In addition, pizzas are ordered for the evening festivities, all for a nominal charge.
Athletic activities, relay races, a sand castle building contest, our popular Baby Parade, and dancing to a DJ are among the highlights of the day, capped off by a wonderful fireworks display off the Main Lake dam later in the evening.
