Your Voice Matters: Community Survey
The Board is launching a community-wide survey and your input is critical. Whether you’ve been a member for decades or just moved in, this is your opportunity to share what’s working, what’s not, and what needs attention. The Club has never conducted a survey of this magnitude or in this way. Your honest answers to all the questions will help shape the future of Highland Lakes.
To ensure total confidentiality, and to make sure we’re asking the right questions theright way to gain the most constructive feedback, we’ve partnered with an independent research firm, EurekaFacts, to help craft and conduct the survey. Your individual responses will not be seen by anyone on the Board or in management. This third-party approach protects your privacy and encourages honest, unfiltered feedback.

What to expect in the coming weeks:

- When the survey is launched, each household will receive a postcard with a unique link to the survey and instructions.
- Email reminders will follow (if we have your email on file).
- Once we announce the postcards have been mailed, if you don’t receive yours, visit hlcc.org for instructions on how to request a new access code.
- Members who DO NOT have a computer at home can schedule to take the survey at the Clubhouse.
- The Board and management will only receive aggregate data – meaning your individual responses are combined with others in charts and graphs and never shared separately. This ensures your privacy while still allowing the Board to see overall trends and priorities. The results will be shared with the Membership.

Who is EurekaFacts?
EurekaFacts is a full-service research and analysis firm in Rockville, MD that provides insights to support targeted communications, program evaluations, strategic decisions, and data-driven decisions. We were selected by the Highland Lakes Country Club and Community Association (HLCC) to conduct this study as an unbiased third-party for HLCC members.
What is the purpose of the study?
HLCC is looking to better understand their members and how to best serve them. This survey will help the association leaders plan and prioritize activities, spending, and communications for the community. Completing this survey will help HLCC gain insight into your satisfaction with various aspects of the community, usage of amenities, and opinions regarding upcoming decisions association leaders will be making. Ultimately, you will help HLCC shape community policies, priorities, and communications.
Are all Highland Lakes Association members part of this study? Can multiple responses be provided for the same household?
Every household with association membership is invited via postcard and, if applicable, their provided email. One invitation to participate is sent out per household with membership. Each response is representative of the household.
I received the postcard, but I don’t have a computer/can’t complete it on my mobile device. How can I complete the survey?
You can use the computer in the Clubhouse to complete the survey. Please bring the postcard with you so you can enter your unique ID/PIN.
What if I didn’t receive the postcard or I lost it? Can I still do the survey?
Yes, there are other options to participate. Check your email for the survey invitation and link. Be sure to check your spam folder just in case. If it’s not in your email, you can email EurekaFacts at participate@eurekafacts.com with your name and primary mailing address (to confirm your member information), and we will send you the survey link and your unique ID/PIN.
What email address is sending the survey invitation?
The email invitation to participate in the survey will appear as being from “gakaviann@eurekafacts.com via research.net member@outbound.research.net”. We recommend adding both to your “safe sender” list to ensure you receive the communications.
Is there an incentive for doing the survey?
Yes. If you complete the survey and agree to be included in the gift card raffle, you have a chance to win one of ten $50 gift cards. EurekaFacts will be randomly choosing the gift card winners and will provide the names and to Highland Lakes, who will be distributing them.
Will all survey responses be kept confidential?
Yes, all responses are kept completely confidential. At no time will any identifiable information be linked to any of your answers in the final report. All information collected through our research process is grouped and reported as an aggregate. HLCC will not have access to your individual responses.

The Club Office is open for members Monday – Friday 10 AM – 3 PM, Saturdays 10 AM – 1 PM.
We encourage members to conduct business as much as possible over the phone or through EMAIL, but if there is a need to come to the office we're available at the above times.
