Highland Lakes Country Club and Community Association

is a private lake community comprised of five lakes, seven beaches, a Clubhouse, and recreational facilities including ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas, and playgrounds, all on roughly two square miles of land almost 1,200 feet above sea level.

There are approximately 1,975 private homes and 230 vacant lots. The Club is governed by an elected, 17-member Voting Board. The Club’s members are further governed by By-Laws and Rules and Regulations. The Board and various committees are all volunteers. The General Manager is supported by a year-round administrative, maintenance, and security staff.

Highland Lakes Country Club and Community Association is a private community.
Members and their guests are required to wear their badges at all times when on club property.

Lakes and Beaches

Our five lakes and seven beaches provide plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the views. During the summer months, lifeguards are stationed at set locations. Swim lessons take place at two beach locations. Barbecues are allowed in designated areas.

Boating and Fishing

Members enjoy the use of kayaks, canoes, rowboats, paddle boats, pontoon boats, and small pleasure boats on our lakes. Electric motors are limited to a maximum of 10 horsepower and a speed maximum of 10 miles per hour. Our lakes are stocked annually, which allows for the enjoyment of year round fishing.

The Clubhouse and Events

The Clubhouse is the center of our community. Located next to Beach 2, it is where many Club activities and committee meetings are held. Our administrative office, security office, and activities center are located within the building.

Athletics

Our community-run offerings span the range from out-in-nature sports such as swimming, sailing, soccer, hiking, and fishing to traditional team sports like basketball, softball, and tennis.

Additionally, we offer a list of activities that are more social in nature including bocce, bowling, golf, volleyball, and water aerobics to name just a few.

ACTIVITIES & CLUBS

Our volunteer community-run activities and clubs include interests for all ages. Participating in any of the activities or clubs is as simple as just showing up! Check the calendar for current activities & schedules.
