Hiking – Terrace Pond in West Milford

Our next hike will be Saturday, July 15th. We are hiking Terrace Pond in West Milford. Again, there may be limited parking at the trailhead so we will meet at 0930 at the clubhouse and carpool to Clinton Road to begin at 10. We will take the yellow trail south then follow the switchback up to the west side of the Pond and continue  north on the loop back down to P1 parking lot. Bring snacks, as we will break at TP before heading down the mountain. This hike is between 5-6 miles and has some elevation once we pass the switchback and start heading north on yellow before the pond. It is much less elevation gain going this direction as opposed to taking the pipeline. The trail can be found on the NYNJ Trail Conference map #152.
