HEAT WAVE

As this week’s heat wave arrives members will ask, how will this effect the lakes? Especially after coming through a rough soggy spring for the lakes. This heat wave will not help. Combined with all the heavy rainfall we’ve had, we can expect algae blooms. 

Lake Management Sciences, our chemical contractors will continue to treat the lakes as needed. The weed harvester will help where it can, but the harvester will only help cleanup the algae after a bloom. The board is doing everything it can, but in the end, Mother Nature is always the deciding factor.
